OSHA Required Monitoring
Environmental Construction Services continually conducts personal monitoring of our personnel in accordance with OSHA requirements and recommendations. This includes time weighted average exposure and excursion sampling on approximately 25% of our crew on each project for each work activity.
All samples are analyzed by laboratories which have demonstrated proficiency in compliance with the NIOSH PAT program.
Should the customer elect to have Environmental Construction Services provide environmental air monitoring, including background, containment, and outside containment sampling, we will do so through a third party firm to avoid any conflict of interest issues.
Results of this sampling will be submitted to the owner or owner's representative as documentation of the results of our work.
Environmental Construction Services employs Certified Wisconsin Asbestos Inspectors. If tests to confirm the presence of asbestos are required, we can take bulk samples, have them analyzed by a third party laboratory, and submit them to the owner.
Environmental Construction Services, utilizes the services of a licensed waste hauler to transport containerized asbestos materials. Documentation of the hauler's authorization to handle special waste will be furnished to the owner upon request.
Disposal of Asbestos Containing Materials is done through landfills licensed to specifically handle this type of material by the State of Wisconsin. All waste generated is properly containerized and labeled as required by State and Federal regulations.
Documentation showing complete chain of custody and disposal is provided upon receipt of the materials at the licensed landfill.
